Artist's Statement
From the outset of my career, there has been a
pronounced interest in figurative tradition.
The use of the figure has never been the goal of the work but rather it has been
used as a tool.
The use of the 'figure' has been the language through which I am able to convey
an analysis of the culture.
It has been used as a literary dialectical conversation with the materials in
order to create a language
through which I convey meaning to the audiences. These tactics were used in the
two major
installations: “Reconstruction XX Century” and “Sex-Text” well as in myriad
minor works.
